General Specifications
General: Window shall be designed and manufactured to meet residential applications per Dade County product approval.
Materials: All frame and sash members shall be extruded 6063-T6 aluminum alloy. Frame members shall have a minimum depth of 2-3/4”. (Available in White, Bronze or Clear Anodized Finish)
Construction: Frame members shall be coped at the corners and assembled with stainless steel screws for tight union. Sash horizontal members telescope into vertical members and are coped and assembled with stainless steel screws.
Hardware: Sash operates on concealed block and tackle balances. Sash bottom rail has an integrated lift rail. Sash may be removed from interior for ease of cleaning. Locking hardware shall be a sweep lock at the meeting rail. Windows over 29-1/2” in width shall have (2) sweep locks.
Glazing: Window shall be factory wet glazed with 5/16” laminated glass with an extruded glazing bead. (Available in Clear, Obscure, Green, Gray or Bronze Tint)
Weatherstripping: Interior and exterior of sash vertical members will contain wool pile which will form a continuous seal with elastomeric vinyl, located at the sash sill and interlock horizontal members.
Insect screen: Screen shall fit flush in the frame. Screen frame shall be roll-formed aluminum box profile. Mesh fabric shall be 18 x 16 grey fiberglass. Spline is circular profiled vinyl.
